LABORATORY VERIFICATION

QUALITY & TESTING CAPABILITIES

Product performance is verified, not assumed. VEQA's quality assurance framework covers twelve laboratory testing capabilities — from leakage and vacuum checks to pump life-cycle fatigue, atomization geometry, dosage accuracy, and PCR material validation. Test protocols and pass criteria are configured strictly against project specifications.

12 CORE LABORATORY TESTING CAPABILITIES

01

Leakage Testing

Airtightness and fluid-retention verification across pump-to-bottle assemblies, closure threading, and piston sealing under standardized pressure environments.

02

Vacuum Testing

Negative-pressure chamber testing to validate structural seal integrity, checking for micro-fissures and air infiltration in airless and atmospheric containers.

03

Drop Testing

Multi-angle impact and shock resistance evaluation from designated heights to ensure component structural robustness during global transit and consumer handling.

04

Torque Testing

Measurement of application and removal torque on threaded caps, pump collars, and twist lipstick mechanisms to prevent transit loosening and secure consumer ergonomics.

05

Pump Life-Cycle Testing

Automated continuous stroke fatigue testing across pump engines, trigger sprayers, and dispensers to verify spring rebound and consistent performance over product lifespan.

06

Spray Pattern Testing

Optical analysis of mist plume geometry, spray angle, and droplet distribution for fine mist sprayers and fragrance atomizers to eliminate streaking and jetting.

07

Dosage / Output Testing

Precision gravimetric output calibration per actuation stroke (verifying target ranges such as 0.05 ml, 0.13 ml, 0.23 ml, or high-viscosity 1.0–4.0 ml).

08

Compatibility Testing

Accelerated thermal chamber evaluation assessing chemical interaction between client bulk formulas (actives, essential oils, surfactants) and packaging contact resins.

09

Alcohol Resistance Testing

Specific chemical exposure checks for fragrance atomizers, pumps, and coated components to prevent surface clouding, peeling, or stress cracking from ethanol.

10

Adhesion Testing

Standardized cross-cut and tape adhesion tests on screen-printed typography, hot-stamped foils, sprayed lacquers, and electroplated metallic coatings.

11

Color Difference Testing

Spectrophotometer Delta-E colorimetric analysis comparing mass production lots against approved master standard swatches under controlled lighting booths.

12

PCR Material Physical Testing

Physical performance and stress-crack resistance verification on components molded with post-consumer recycled resins (PCR PP, PCR PET, PCR PETG).

TESTING PROTOCOLS & STANDARDS

Are all 12 laboratory tests performed on every production run?

Testing scopes, sampling frequencies, and pass thresholds are tailored to the specific packaging format and agreed with the client prior to production. For instance, alcohol resistance is mandatory for fragrance lines, while vacuum checks are emphasized for airless systems.

How do you validate post-consumer recycled (PCR) packaging?

Recycled-content components undergo specialized mechanical testing — including environmental stress-crack resistance (ESCR) and tensile durability — to ensure that incorporating PCR resin does not compromise container hermeticity or shelf stability.

Can clients supply proprietary formulas for compatibility testing?

Yes. We encourage bulk formula submission during the tooling or pre-production phase to run accelerated thermal and chemical compatibility tests before final production sign-off.
